Need a COVID-19 Test? Here’s Where to Go in Central Illinois.
Do you need to be tested for COVID-19? According to the CDC, there are three main criteria for getting tested:
- You have symptoms of COVID-19.
- You have had close contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19. Testing is not recommended until at least 5–7 days from day of exposure.
- You have been referred to be tested by your doctor or your local or state public health department.
If you are tested or identified as a close contact, you should self-quarantine or isolate while your results are pending. Follow all guidance you receive from your doctor and public health officials.
Current COVID-19 testing locations in central Illinois include: Christian, Logan, Macon, Montgomery, Morgan, Pike, Sangamon and Scott counties. Contact information can be found on the Memorial Health System COVID-19 webpage at https://www.choosememorial.org/covid19 .
