Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS Tees Off June 25
The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS, a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour, will take place June 25 – 28, at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois. This is the sixth year Memorial Health has been the title sponsor of this event.
This unique opportunity for the community to celebrate with high-caliber golf, food and fun is also vital to supporting an important cause.
This year, as part of a new community impact initiative, Memorial Health is launching a Mobile Health Unit that will bring preventive and essential health services directly into neighborhoods across central Illinois. Proceeds from the Memorial Health Championship will go toward funding this unit that will help reduce barriers including transportation and access, allowing us to care for patients where they live and work.
“Every mile the mobile health unit travels is one more opportunity to catch a problem early, protect a family’s health and strengthen our community,” said Valeria Cueto, vice president of community impact and integration.
The 72-hole competition spans four days and features the top rising professional golfers. More than 150 players will compete for a total purse of $1 million. As the path to the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour elevates some of the most talented professional golfers who compete to win an invitation to golf’s biggest stage.
