Volunteers Make a Difference
Volunteers are the backbone of Memorial Health System. In 2017, more than 900 volunteers donated over 100,000 hours of service. Volunteers at Memorial Medical Center range from 16 years old to 94. All five generations work alongside each other and make an impact on patients’ experiences.
Amazing numbers in 2017:
- Memorial Medical Center: 400+ volunteers served more than 46,100 hours
- Passavant Area Hospital: 200+ volunteers served more than 30,750 hours
- Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital: 170+ volunteers served more than 21,156 hours
- Taylorville Memorial Hospital: 100+ volunteers served more than 7,289 hours
